Anup Chapagain

I’m originally from Nepal, and my journey has been shaped by unexpected challenges. Back in 2019, I was living a typical life, focused on completing my 12th grade. Then, COVID-19 struck, bringing everything to a halt, including my exams. That moment became a turning point for me. The pandemic made me reflect deeply on the state of my country and my own future. I realized how fragile things were—if the shutdown had lasted longer, it felt like the whole country might crumble.

Until then, I’d always been adamant that I’d never leave Nepal. But life had other plans. Today, I find myself in London, expanding my horizons and learning about the world in ways I never imagined. Each day brings new growth, and I’m no longer the person who felt confined by limitations back home. Being here has opened doors to endless possibilities, and I’m excited to keep discovering more about myself and the world around me.
